I'm Getting Errors running the Interactive 360 Sample Project on iOS. Has anyone successfully implemented it?

I expected to be able to run this with no errors since the documentation stated that this project should run on iOS (Cardboard). I'm using 2017.4.0f1 attempting to install this using Xcode 9.4.1 on an iPhone 6 Plus running the latest version of iOS 11.

This attached file is the log that I got the first time with no Player Setting changes.

I saw the two errors below multiple times.

- Execution of the command buffer was aborted due to an error during execution. Caused GPU Hang Error (IOAF code 3)

- Execution of the command buffer was aborted due to an error during execution. Ignored (for causing prior/excessive GPU errors) (IOAF code 4)

While researching the first error I found this Issuetracker link.

One of the comments mentioned disable Metal in the Graphics API setting under Other Settings. This attached file is the log that I got after removing Metal in Player Setting changes.
