Unity ARKit add image reference at runtime

Hey there, I'm currently looking into integrating ARKit 2.0 using the beta version provided in this thread: https://forum.unity.com/threads/arkit-2-0-beta-support.534639/ Everything works fine, got image tracking set up. However one thing I'm currently not able to figure out is how to add new image references at runtime. Tried creating a new ARReferenceImage, loading a Texture2d to fill it and add it to an ARRefrenceImageSet which I then use in the config in the RunWithConfig method. However it does not seem to be recognised (while having it setup in the editor it works fine). Should this be a valid way to do it, or are there methods available to do this, is there some trick/workaround or are native calls required? Thanks!
