I know there is quite a few topics about this, but the suggests just doesnt work for me.
Here is my setup:
Runner game
Object pooling is used
Have about 180 textures and the same number of materials.
On load, I have a plane, I run a loop, to set all the materials to this plane, to force it to load all textures (or atleast this is what I hoped will happen)
Once the user clicks play, the character runs from a dojo, once the camera renders the outside area, there is a pause of about 1-2 secs on Ipad2 only
Also when text is displayed on screen, a delay is visible, Im using NGUI, make a comment in the NGUI site also, no feedback...
Any help please?
