My company is in troubles because we are not able to deploy anything ad hoc. After we found about this we started testing with an empty project. That also goes wrong. The IPA does download, but it does nothing after.
Our process is:
- Create app id with the correct bundle id.
- Add devices to our devices list.
- Create ad hoc provisioning profile with wanted devices.
- Download provisioning profile.
- Compile unity project (with the right bundle id).
- Archive in Xcode.
- Distribute and save the ipa file.
- Create the matching .plist file and upload both to our servers.
We have done ad hoc before, but it doesn't seem to work with Unity.
Note: we are using unity 4.3.0f4 because we require compatibilites with third parties SDKs.
